Return Policy.

If you are not fully satisfied with a product, just call us within 30 days of shipment and the following will apply:

Supplies:

Within 30 days of purchase – All supplies can be returned or exchanged if you are unsatisfied with your purchase.

After 30 days of purchase - Unopened returned within a year, and with a minimum of 1 year shelf life for exchange or credit on account only.  Opened supply returns will not be accepted.

Equipment (including handpieces):

Within 30 days of purchase–

• Open and/or used equipment limit 1 unit and subject to a 20% re-stocking fee.  
• Unopened equipment for an exchange or refund.

No Equipment returns after 30 days of purchase.  Dropship/special order items cannot be returned.  

For customers located in the continental U.S., Safco will send a pre-paid UPS shipping label to return any unused items at our expense. Just box up the product with a copy of the invoice, affix the label, and give the package to UPS at your convenience.

Customers outside of the continental U.S. are responsible for all shipping expenses as part of their product returns (except for errors made by Safco).

Because of O.S.H.A. regulations, items used in the patient's mouth must be autoclaved before returning to Safco. For all handpieces and small equipment, you may use one in your office on trial; we can only accept the return of one unit in used condition.

Orders received by 4:30 PM Central time (3:30 PM on Fridays) are routinely shipped the same day. All "Free Offers" end on the date specified in the offer details, at 11:59 PM Central Standard Time.

At time of order, payment options include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and e-Check. Your card or designated account will be charged on the date of shipment.

Free credit. Customers who do not wish to pay by credit card or e-Check are generally billed on an open-account basis. New customers are extended an initial credit line of $1,500; credit limits may be increased or decreased based upon payment pattern and order history. Open account payments may be made by check or e-Check.
 Payment is due upon receipt of monthly statement.

Billing Period: Statements are generated after the close of business on the last day of the month and include all transactions for that calendar month.
To avoid service charges, payment must be received by the end of the month following shipment. Amounts not paid by this date are subject to a monthly service charge of 1.5%

Free shipping and handling: Safco provides totally free shipping to the 48 continental states -- no shipping charges, no handling fees, no fuel surcharges. The following exceptions apply:

• Orders under $250.00 have a $14.95 service fee.
• C.O.D. orders: $20.00 C.O.D. fee. Safco waives this fee for orders over $500
• Hazardous materials fee: Hazardous products have a UPS charge of $40
• Next Day Air and other premium shipping services are available at an extra cost.

Promotional discount exclusions include products listed under 'Small Equipment', including, but not limited to: Air Polishers, Autoclaves, Scanners, Surgical Equipment, Ultrasonic Scalers, and Vacuum Systems. Please contact Customer Service for more information.

Free goods processing: We will gladly process free goods for all of our VIP customers as a benefit to the program.  If you are not in the VIP program, we will process free goods upon request.  Free goods are subject to manufacture restrictions.

We reserve the right to limit quantities in the event of shortages or dramatic market changes.

We reserve the right to limit or refuse orders on the basis of a customer's past order history.

NOTE TO CONSUMERS & NON-DENTISTS: The products on this website are intended for professional use only and will only be sold to approved accounts. We can only sell and ship to addresses in the United States and Puerto Rico. Many of our products can only be shipped to licensed US dentists. Industrial accounts (not dental professionals) have a minimum order requirement of $150.00, and must pay with a credit card at time of order.
